Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how BajetKita handles information when you use the application. BajetKita is a company-led product. Formal legal owner and registration details will be confirmed and published here when finalised.

What BajetKita Does Not Do

• BajetKita does not connect directly to your bank account.
• BajetKita does not perform payment transactions or move money on your behalf.
• BajetKita does not sell your personal data to third parties.

Information You Provide

When you use BajetKita, you may choose to enter the following information yourself:

• Profile setup details (name, household type, dependents)
• Income source records
• Bills and recurring commitments
• Payment records (what you have marked as paid)
• Budget categories and monthly limits
• DSR (Debt Service Ratio) calculator inputs and results

This information is stored on your own device by default. If you create an account, your email address and basic profile information are also handled through Firebase Authentication, our authentication service provider.

Cloud Backup

If you choose to use the cloud backup feature, a copy of the data listed above is saved to a secure cloud database tied to your account. Cloud backup is manual — BajetKita does not silently or automatically overwrite your data. You are asked to confirm before any backup is restored to a device.

Your Rights

You can ask us, or manage directly within the app, the following:

• Access — see what data is stored in your account.
• Correction — update inaccurate information through Settings.
• Deletion — request deletion of your account data.
• Backup awareness — know when your data was last backed up or restored.

Security

We apply reasonable technical safeguards, including authenticated access and per-user data separation in our cloud database. No system can guarantee absolute security, and we do not claim BajetKita is immune to all risk. We continue to review and improve these safeguards as the product matures.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as BajetKita develops. Material changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date above.
