Find quick answers below. If you need further help, support contact details will be published here as they are confirmed.
How do I register?
Tap "Join BajetKita" on the login page, fill in your name, email, and a password of at least 8 characters, agree to the Privacy Policy, Data Privacy Notice, and Terms of Use, then submit. You can also register using Google sign-in.
How do I verify my email?
After registering with email and password, we send a verification link to your email address. Open that email and click the link. You will not be able to access the dashboard until your email is verified. If you do not see the email, use "Resend verification email" on the verification screen.
How do I reset my password?
On the login page, tap "Forgot password?", enter your email address, and we will send a password reset link if an account exists for that email.
How do I add income?
Go to Settings → Income Sources, then add a source with an amount, frequency, and owner. You can toggle a source inactive at any time without deleting it — inactive sources are excluded from all totals.
How do I add bills?
Go to Bills → Add Bill, or use the "Add Bill" quick action on the Dashboard. Fill in the bill name, category, amount, and due date.
How does cloud backup work?
Cloud backup is manual and optional, available in Settings → Cloud Sync once you are logged in. Saving uploads your current data; loading downloads it back. We never overwrite your local data silently — a confirmation step and a local backup happen first.
How is DSR calculated?
Your Debt Service Ratio (DSR) is calculated as your total monthly commitments divided by your net monthly income, compared against Malaysian bank affordability tiers. It is an indicative estimate only, not a bank approval guarantee — see the Financial Status page for full details and disclaimers.
How is my data handled?
See our Privacy Policy and Data Privacy Notice for full details. In short: your data is stored on your device by default, BajetKita never connects to your bank account or processes payments, and cloud backup is optional and user-controlled.
